Biography
Roberto Alejandro Durán was a former MLB pitcher who played for the Detroit Tigers. He pitched two seasons with the Tigers in 1997 and 1998. He batted and threw left-handed. Durán was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1990 as an amateur free agent. On March 14 1996 Durán was selected off waivers by the Toronto Blue Jays. He never made it to the bigs with the Jays and ended up being traded on December 11 1996 to the Detroit Tigers for career minor leaguer Anton French.
