Gene Eric Lang is a former professional American football running back in the National Football League. He played seven seasons for the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons. His mistake while attempting to return a kickoff during the 1987 AFC Championship caused the Broncos offense to get the ball on their own two yard line while down with only 5 minutes left in the game.
