Edmund Grainger Biography
American film producer
Edmund Grainger (1906–1981) was an American film producer. He produced more than sixty films during his career, and also occasionally worked as an *istant director. During the 1930s he was employed by Universal Pictures. He worked for RKO during Howard Hughes' ownership of the studio.
Grainger was the son of James D. Grainger, a film executive who worked for a variety of companies from the silent era onwards.
